The Silicon Valley District Office of Farmers Insurance is actively recruiting for an individual who is eager to learn, motivated, and excited to join a high-performing team. This opening is for a Licensed Insurance Producer in an insurance agency.

Job Description/Responsibilities

As an Insurance Producer, you will work alongside an experienced agency owner and a strong team. While working with an expert, you will learn about insurance sales, networking, becoming an agency owner, and much more. You will:

• Learn about Farmers insurance products/services
• Develop marketing plans to attract new clientele
• Evaluate and identify customers unique insurance needs to generate quotes
• Sell, market, and service insurance for new and existing customers
• Educate the community on insurance and financial services
• Work with an agency owner, the District Office, and clients to ensure agency growth through retaining customers and building new connections
• Identify prospective clients through cold calling, door to door, and/or different sales techniques.
• Contact existing customers to discuss their insurance needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, accountable, and ready to build a better future. The following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working in an insurance agency or insurance sales (1 year or more required).
• Experience working in a sales.
• Experience in customer service and providing client-focused solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Eager to learn new material and be coachable.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals.
• Must be licensed in Property & Casualty.
• Must be willing to obtain Life, Accident, and Health license.
