We are looking to hire a Sales Operations Specialist I immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD.

This person will play a key role in supporting the NA Flavor Organization by performing value-added tasks specific to the Commercial function, including SAP data manipulation and filing of briefs, management & coordination of trade shows, supporting our Salesforce platform when it comes to account set up, data accuracy, user training & acceptance testing for system update as well as other adhoc responsibilities to enhance Sales Operations. This person will work collaboratively with cross functional teams across North America including Sales, IT, Marketing, R&D, Pricing and more to help support the customer as our #1 priority.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of project management, flexibility, high levels of communication and the ability to create sustainable and long-lasting internal relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Support up to 5 sales account managers
- Sales Operations process owner for customer agreements across McCormicks North American Flavor Group including, but not limited to NDAs, MSAs, Code of Conduct, Sustainability.
- Implement, optimize, and lead processes which increase customer face time for the sales team across McCormicks North American Flavor Group
- Ensure effective and efficient use of salesforce.com across the North American Flavor Group including training, data accuracy & analytics for reporting and dashboarding
- Partner with x-functional team members at McCormick USA, McCormick Canada, Brand Aromatics & McFONA on special projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with various communications to Customers, as needed
- Handle all aspects of registering for Trade Shows, Conventions, etc.
- Project entry utilizing standard operating procedures.
- Some travel may be required (up to 10% of time)
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business management, business administration or other relevant field
- General business employment that involves working with or for customers
Preferred Skills:
- Proven track record of building relationships & working effectively in a team-based environment, collaborating x-functionally, and building alignment around goals and objectives
- Strong Analytical & Organizations Skills
- Detail-oriented with high-energy, and excellent organizational skills
- Great Communicator & listener
- Problem solving while working within established processes and timelines
- Experience in relevant business area such as sales operations, sales enablement, Project Coordination, or customer service a plus
- Experience with Technology platforms with a preference for Salesforce, SAP and PowerBI
