Job description

A The UPS Store Center Associate (Full-Time or Part-Time positions available) delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers. Duties include, but are not limited to, receiving and processing packages for courier shipment, operating copiers, operating fax machines and other binding equipment and laminating machines, and operating point-of-sale devices, and answering customer phone calls. The Associate expertly advises customers by providing accurate information by knowing best practices related to the industry.

The ideal candidate is motivated and has previous retail experience in a high-speed, professional work environment, has good problem solving skills, possesses strong computer skills and internet skills, has a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and professional appearance. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time. Most importantly, the ideal candidate values punctuality, professionalism, accuracy, efficiency, and is a strong team player. Any graphic design experience is a plus.

Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries

Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership

Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions

Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends

Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others

Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment

Performs other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 40 per week

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
