Western National is seeking an Internal Regional Agency Manager to join our team!

The individual in this role will have the opportunity to build and manage all facets of a strong working relationship between Western National and our independent agencies to drive profitable growth.

What are the responsibilities and opportunities of this role?

• Oversees agency management with an emphasis on driving new business and profitable growth.
• Ability to market and front line underwrite commercial, personal, and specialty business.
• Partners with underwriting, claims, and risk management to identify opportunities and maintain profitable business.
• Promotes and provides agency personnel with training on company products and rating systems.
• Monitors agency performance and develops appropriate action plans as necessary.
• Acts as a liaison between the agencies and Western National to gather market intel and communicate changes in market or company position.
• Acts as a subject matter expert on internal projects and initiatives with various departments.
• Assists in analyzing reports and data for the Senior Vice President and Vice President of Sales.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

What are the must-have qualifications for a candidate?

• Ability to travel on occasion (less than 10%).
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages.
• Bachelors degree in business or marketing is preferred; experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous property-and-casualty insurance company sales and marketing experience or equivalent agency-facing property-and-casualty industry experience.

Compensation overview

The full hiring range for this role is $71,200 $106,800 annually. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates looking for compensation outside of the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on their individual qualifications and/or may be considered for other positions.
