Full description of the position

Position description: This sales and marketing leaders draw energy from working with people and work with a sense of urgency. This enthusiastic, self-starting person with a passion for selling is responsible for cultivating the agent/broker relationships such that it converts into scheduling inspections and Champia/Edifice loyalty. This leader must absolutely love talking to people, building relationships and have coachable sales and marketing skills.

This individual will take ownership of agent/broker relationships and actively systematize the conversion process for maximum effectiveness. They record their productivity and sales metrics and track the results in regular accountability meetings. This person has the organizational and time management skills necessary to handle a broad territory.

This individual must be highly trustworthy as they will be the first point of contact for the companys customer, they will have access to sensitive financial files and information regarding agents, brokers and clients.

This positions activity directly affects the bottom line, and as such they are deeply committed to the team achieving greater and greater levels of success, as well as growing their own skills and developing into a leader within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieves marketing and sales objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans for assigned territory/relationships; resolving customer problems; identifying trends
  • Is the lead in sales and relationship management of new and existing customers (agents/ brokers). Will be successful in bringing new customers into the organization and managing overall customer relationships
  • Establish and manage partnership relationships with brokers/office within the assigned territory as budget permits.
  • Identify, isolate, and pursue new customer acquisition, and conduct cold-call reach out to potential new agent/broker relationships.
  • Communicate with customers within the territory on a regular basis to develop rapport and better understand their needs.
  • Create and maintain a sales plan for the assigned territory that meets or exceeds a profit goal.
  • Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
  • Sustains rapport with key agent/broker by making regular visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
  • Facilitates and presents at customer sales meetings, CE classes and other speaking opportunities.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
