Schedule: Full-time | Monday - Friday

Location: onsite in River West, Chicago

Duration: Direct Hire

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 salary, plus comprehensive benefits

Our client, a Chicago-based manufacturer of industrial safety equipment, is seeking a strong Technical Sales Support Representative to add to their team! This position will work closely with the sales, manufacturing, and logistics teams to support all facets of customer interaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Field all incoming calls and emails
• Answer questions and provide technical support
• Generate price quotes and job bids when needed
• Enter large volumes of Purchase Orders as they come through
• Process incoming customer orders
• Work closely with the shop floor to meet outgoing delivery requirements
• Resolve any installation or after-sales issues; general troubleshooting

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Bachelors degree in a business or technical field
• 3+ years of customer service experience
• Experience in a technical sales environment
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience entering Purchase Orders on a regular basis
• Some ERP software experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven track record of success in school and work environments
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and put the customer first
