JOB DESCRIPTION:

Inside Sales Representatives work closely with the Outside Sales team in a supportive role to assist with account management, indirect business development, customer relationships, and company growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generates sales quotes, processes purchase orders, submits warranty claims, and creates team sales reporting.
• Maintains customer database, territory map software, and CRM system.
• Provides customers with pricing and availability of parts/equipment, shares product knowledge, delivers order tracking and status updates, responds to customer inquiries, and assists with technical support, over the phone and by email.
• Coordinates team travel schedules, arranges customer meetings, and manages team calendars.
• Maintains and develops customer relationships by building rapport, gaining trust, and ensuring customers are satisfied with our products and services. Provides additional administrative sales support, as needed.

EXPERIENCE:

Candidate must have at least 3 to 5 years of experience working within at least one of the following fields:

• Wholesale Distribution (ie: Counter Sales, Purchasing, Outside Sales)
• Field Service / Installation / Refrigeration or HVAC Mechanical Contracting
• Experience working for an OEM in the HVACR industry

Candidate must also possess the following qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude and energy
• Strong multi-tasking, time management, detail oriented and organization abilities
• Skills to think critically, work proactively, and be self-directed
• Proficient using MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Proven experience as a valuable team player with the ability to also work independently
• Public speaking experience (not required, though a plus)

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required (college preferred)

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
