Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our exceptional team at Grieco Chevrolet of Lauderhill as a Warehouse Parts Department Sales Employee. The successful individual in this role will be responsible for managing parts inventory, processing sales transactions, and providing exceptional service to our customers. This position is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee the organization and maintenance of the parts inventory. Ensure that all parts are accurately cataloged and readily accessible. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Sales Processing: Assist customers with their parts inquiries and sales. Process sales transactions promptly and accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction. Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment and perform routine sales reconciliation.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Answer questions, resolve issues, and provide information about parts specifications, pricing, and availability. Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and dispatch parts orders for both walk-in customers and online or phone orders. Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders to meet customer expectations.
- Returns and Exchanges: Handle returns and exchanges efficiently, adhering to company policies while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the parts inventory, including features, benefits, and applications. Stay informed about new products and updates to existing products.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including the sales team, warehouse staff, and management, to optimize operations and improve service levels.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in business, logistics, or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, sales, or customer service role, preferably in a parts department environment.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
