Sales and Business Development Specialist

Hog Lick Aggregates (HLA) has an immediate opening for an experienced Sales and Business Development Specialist. This full time position offers competitive pay (salary plus commission), low-cost healthcare, dental and vision coverage, and paid company holidays. Position reports directly to the President.

Responsibilities include:

• Market, project, and customer analysis.
• Customer and sales opportunity identification.
• Customer interface and acquisition.
• Bid and sales quote preparation, submission, and follow up.
• Knowledge of HLAs aggregate products and their applications.
• Sales and opportunity tracking and reporting.
• Competitive analysis.
• Coordination with accounting on sales recording invoicing, and accounts receivable.
• Coordination with production and dispatch on production planning and aggregate delivery.
• Periodic contribution and updates to company webpage, Facebook page, and LinkedIn page.
• Back-up dispatch as needed.

Sales and Business Development Specialist with have access to the resources of a third party engineer to assist in material specification and sample analysis required by customers.

Necessary Skills:

• Proven ability to identify opportunities, structure sales solutions, and close transactions.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and define customer aggregate needs.
• Willingness and ability to visit customers on job sites and customer offices.
• Experience using Excel and Google Sheets functions.
• Experience using Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Power Point.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
