A Global Chemicals Manufacturer based in Chester County is hiring a seasoned Sales Support Specialist with sales order Management & B2B Account Management experience. The ideal candidates should have experience in planning and fulfilling customer PO, support life cycle of sales order fulfillment, quoting, pricing, and collaborate with logistics, Manufacturing, Inventory and S&OP team to improve on-time delivery on order fulfillment. Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and support OTC on sales orders, based on existing capacities in inventory and logistics to plan and optimize PO fulfillment process, and update customer on order processing, logistic status and delivery date.

Provide customer timely information regarding product availability, pricing, application, provide technical information as needed to fulfill customer inquiries.

Create PO number in CRM and monitor inventory stock at both domestic and international level, collaborate with logistics team to determine shipping routes including railcar, trucking, ocean freight, schedule routes based on availability of inventory.

Provide support to customer, gather information regarding order details, provide pricing, quotes, shipping quotes and estimated delivery time to customer.

Track shipping status, resolve bottleneck and issues, keep customers and internal customer updated regarding status of shipment.

Effective communication with 3rd party logistic provider (rail, ocean, LTL trucking) on shipment status, issue, damage, etc.

Attend weekly S&OP meeting to identify issues, bottleneck and support process improvement on logistics to shorten lead-time, based on inventory level and demand to support procurement of raw materials form overseas factories.

Ensure on-time delivery, timely quality check with customer regarding shipment, damage, refund, delay, etc. Collaborate with accounting team on invoice with customers.

Provide hands-on support to peers and team members as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in business, supply chain or equivalent work experience.

Recent work experience in high-volume, fast-paced environment as Customer Account Specialist, Sales Order Specialist, Logistics Specialist, Customer Service Specialist within Specialty Chemicals Industry.

Attention to details and excellent people & communication skills.

Able to pass background check and drug test, proven track record of employment history.
