New Rochelle based Property Management Company is seeking a full-time Subsidy & Leasing Associate

Responsibilities will include:

• Enter in all Section 8 subsidy and program payments from the various agencies both in NYC and outside of NYC
• Reconcile subsidy and agency 8 payments with lease charges, both tenant and agency share
• Follow up with Section 8 and agencies for any discrepancies
• Submit lease renewals to Section 8 and agencies and follow up for lease increases
• Track any Section 8 suspensions and assist with reinstatements
• Respond to incoming inquiries from tenants and subsidy agency
• Facilitate collection and submission of required applicant documents
• Contact tenants to schedule lease signing or update documents as needed
• Perform other related duties and analysis as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a strong work ethic and persistence
• Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with colleagues and agencies
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and meet department goals
• Working knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel), familiarity with Yardi Voyager

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelors degree in accounting, Business Administration or closely related field of study

Bilingual (English/Spanish) not required but preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
