Insurance Customer Service Representative

Jerry Pyles - State Farm Agent is hiring an Insurance Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will apply your insurance and customer service knowledge, attained through top-notch training, and provide world-class service to our new & existing clients.

The Jerry Pyles State Farm Agency is seeking an outgoing, motivated individual to join our sales team! The insurance sales representatives will be responsible for recommending and identifying risk management strategies for customers by advising the correct insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.

Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.

Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.

Develop new Financial Services opportunities.

Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.

Maintain knowledge of new products.

Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.

Uphold the wants and needs of your customers

Requirements

P&C Insurance License (must be willing to obtain)

Life & Health Insurance License (must be willing to obtain)

Prior insurance industry experience helpful but we will help train you

Have a proven track record in providing excellent customer service

Have a proven track record of dependability & reliability showing up to work as scheduled, on time.

Desire to help educate others on insurance how and why it's important to have the proper coverage.

Have an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Great self-starter with a sense of urgency.

Create relationships from a cold start and be able to handle customer rejection.

Have the ability to answer prospective client's questions efficiently and effectively.

Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.

Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.

Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.

Personality assessment must be completed for an interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
