We are immediately seeking a Furniture Design Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales task duties, from generating leads to closing sales, at our Pineville location. Prior experience in Furniture Sales is a plus!

Sales Associate responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer questions about product and recommend the right solutions. To be successful in this role, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our stores visual appearance to the highest standards.

Ultimately, the duties of the Sales Associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting personal sales goals.

Responsibilities:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features

Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions

Follow and achieve personal sales goals on a monthly basis

Go the extra mile to drive sales

Maintain presentable conditions in assigned areas

Actively assist customers in the store

Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options

Remain knowledgeable on POS processes

Cross sell products

Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service

Build productive relationships with customers

Comply with inventory control procedures

Suggest ways to improve sales

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Sales Associate or similar role

Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

Basic Math Skills

Proficiency in English

Working knowledge of customer dynamics and requirements

Track record of over-achieving sales quotas

Solid communication and interpersonal skills

A friendly and energetic personality with customer focus

Ability to perform under pressure

Ability to multi-task and handle multiple customer at once, as needed

Physical Requirements:

Ability to be up and walking around a majority of the time

Work Hours:

The Sales Associates will be required to work 35-40 hours per week and is an hourly position. Extenuating circumstances may require additional time for certain periods.

WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED.

COMPENSATION:

Guaranteed Hourly plus monthly commission incentive.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $28.00 per hour
