We are looking for a Pharmacy Cashier to assist all patients promptly and accurately. Greeting every patient with a smile.

Cashier responsibilities include warmly welcoming patients quickly. Accurately gathering patient information and communicating to pharmacy technicians or pharmacists.

To be successful in this role, having previous experience in a customer service position would be helpful but not required. A genuinely caring personality and excitement to help every patient equally is required.

You should be available for evening and weekend shifts. Ultimately, youll ensure all transactions run smoothly and maximize every patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with patients
• Gather patients prescriptions and verify patient information with accuracy for each transaction.
• Assist patients both in-store and via drive-thru
• Effective communication with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists
• Greet patients when entering or leaving the store
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout and pharmacy areas
• Completing downtime and closing tasks without being asked.
• Manage and follow-thru with each patient waiting for prescriptions

Potential for promotion to pharmacy technician in the future for the right candidate.

Skills

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
• Basic PC/cash register knowledge
• Willingness to learn
• Strong communication and time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
