Inside Sales Representative,

Scope: Reports to the Manager of Sales and Customer Service. Scope of work reflects a moderate level of ability in understanding mechanical concepts and explaining them for the purpose of solving problems and selling parts.

Summary: As a sales and technical representative you will take inbound calls from customers and potential customers. We provide them with technical assistance and parts selection with a focus on selling them everything they need to upgrade their vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist customers in determining the correct components of our high-performance disc brake systems

Assist customers with installation of our products with technical advice and reinforcement of proper procedures and techniques

Resolve customer service issues with patience and genuine concern for a positive outcome.

Must be comfortable asking customers if they would like to place an order

Learn about a wide variety of vehicles, applications, and adaptations

Accurately identify and report problems to management

Remain calm with frustrated and frustrating customers

Focused attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in MS Office applications, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

Requirements:

Personal or professional experience building, maintaining, or driving high performance vehicles

Experience in a sales/customer service environment

Ability to speak and write in a professional manner with correct basic grammar and spelling

Willingness to learn a lot about how cars and their brake systems work

Professional attitude with customers and co-workers

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in business, economics, or other applicable discipline

Professional experience in building and maintaining high performance cars

Sales experience within the high performance automotive industry including working trade show/car show booths

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to understand how things work, explain them, and manage the human interaction with the customer.

Ability to identify problems with products, trace the origins of the issue, and accurately report that via internal reporting forms.

Knowledge of materials, basic scientific concepts, manufacturing techniques, and high quality customer service.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
