Full description of the position

Summary:

This position is responsible for servicing the customer base within an assigned territory and for recruiting new customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Must have prospecting skills, ability to meet sales goals, negotiation skills, product knowledge, presentation skills, and a motivation for sales.

Service existing accounts by solving problems, addressing customer concerns and updating pricing. Coordinate between customers and our plants to ensure excellent customer service and to minimize problems. Complete a bi-annual written survey of bulk tanks within assigned territory. Write up work orders for repairs, tank installs, and upgrades as needed. Attend bid openings for municipalities. Analyze territory for market share, acquire new business, and open new accounts. Participate in trade shows as required. Form relationships with local NSPI, FRWA, AWWA and other chapters related to the Water Treatment and the Swimming Pool Industry Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager. *Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the companys discretion.

Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Computer Skills - Proficient use of MS software particularly Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint or similar software.

Education and/or Experience:

A minimum of five years of sales experience. Minimum of two years of college work. Industrial sales and customer service background are preferred but not required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
