We are searching for an associate ready to step into a Technical Sales Support Representative role and become an integral part of the sales team quoting municipal waterworks products.

This associate will report directly to the municipal sales manager. This job requires you to be in the office Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.

Must be able to work onsite at one of the following locations:

Richmond, VA

Chesapeake, VA

Williamsburg, VA

Mount Crawford, VA

Forest, VA

Responsibilities:

  • Support the outside sales team.
  • Manage relationships with Internal and External customers.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while providing technical assistance and guidance.
  • Interact and develop relationships with key vendors to support sales.
  • Be a team player and work with our outside municipal and water meter sales team to support quotations.
  • Communicate special pricing with Shared Purchasing Centers (SPC)
  • Use technology tools effectively including BidTracer, Salesforce, CRM and phone system
  • Form solid relationships to establish trust within district.
  • Willingness to learn and train continually with products.
  • Providing hands-on assistance on an as-needed basis such as helping assist customers on the parts counter and providing backup support in the warehouse.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of technical sales experience is preferred.
  • Underground construction knowledge preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • A high level of integrity when problem solving.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

Pay Range:

$17.77 - $34.36

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
