Full description of the position

The Senior Manager of Sales Analytics is a pivotal role in the QuVa Commercial Organization and will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting a range of data across sales, customer, and product performance to provide actionable insights to improve sales strategies, execution, and overall sales performance effectiveness. This position leads a team that gathers, interprets, and presents data to sales leadership and supports the sales / national accounts teams with data-driven decisions related to customer and territory targeting and performance metrics, measuring and tracking incentive compensation programs, and pricing and contracts opportunities and barriers. This role reports to Director, Commercial Operations and is critical to the sales team's success by leading sales data analysis projects, implementing a range of analytics toolsleveraging our commercial systems and business intelligence platforms, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive data-driven decision-making that results in a high performing and motivated sales organization.

What The Senior Manager, Sales Analytics Does Each Day:

  • Business intelligence (BI) data management liaison working directly with the BI team to provide the information on sales performance. This position controls and manages the data evaluation of performance and opportunity across the sales and national accounts organization and provides action-oriented insight that direct the sales teams focus
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve sales strategies
  • Interpret complex data sets and provide clear, concise, and actionable insights to sales leadership
  • Create and maintain visual dashboards representing and displaying KPIs
  • Ensure sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the sales organizationdeveloping new reporting tools as needed
  • Monitor and evaluate sales team performance against targets and KPIs
  • Provide regular reports and dashboards highlighting sales metrics, conversion rates, and revenue analysis nationally, regionally, and at the territory level
  • Collaborates with Dir, Comm Ops and VP Sales on sales compensation design and administration, sales territory/quota design and management, and leads staff to track and measure, and report the performance against target
  • Collaborate with sales managers to support performance reviews processes and optimize individual and team productivity
  • Responsible for incorporating pricing insights into sales analysis to understand and report on pricing impact and price volume mix
  • Support monitoring of price file and current per SKU pricing and profitability
  • Conduct customer segmentation analysis to identify new market opportunities
  • Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and purchasing patterns to enhance sales targeting and customer engagement strategies
  • Implement and manage sales analytics tools and software to automate data collection and analysis processes
  • Collaborate with Commercial Systems leader, IT, and Business Intelligence groups to optimize utility of CRM and data storage and retrieval systems

Minimum Requirements for this Role:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Statistics / Math, or a related field preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in a related role in a medical / manufacturing / pharmaceutical environment preferred, and required to have experience in analyzing sales data
  • Proficiency statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
