Flooring Sales Consultant

This is an inside sales position selling flooring to retail customers and commercial accounts. It is a position that requires an individual to interact with customers and assist them in making product choices according to their lifestyle needs, and stylish wants. Whether that interaction occurs in our showroom or in the community, the objective is always to provide flooring advice that will make the customers buying decision easier.

Responsibilities

Go through our informative training program to become a certified flooring sales professional

Organize and manage your projects

Generate new business to build and grow your pipeline

Provide a premium customer experience

Maintain relationships through communication with all leads & customer

Additional duties and opportunities

• Upselling Cabinetry and countertops (depending on client needs)
• Provide flooring knowledge to advise customers on what flooring would suit them the best.
• Deliver a warm welcome and assist with any concerns the potential client may have while starting their project.
• Maintain knowledge of different flooring solutions and trends to offer expert advice.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Check availability of selected products to ensure the product coordinates with their timeline.
• Follow up in a timely and professional manner with all customers on requests and/or concerns.
• Preform measures with laser measure, provided iPad and software to obtain floorplan.
• Utilize CRM provided to efficiently track previous leads and benefit from automated email follow-ups.
• Build value in our lifetime installation warranties, price match guarantee and veteran owned local business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $129,000.00 per year
