Responsibilities:

Cashier Duties:

• Greet customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Accurately process sales transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
• Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area.

Order Processing:

• Assist in receiving and processing customer orders for plants and garden supplies.
• Ensure orders are accurate, and products are prepared for customer pickup or delivery.
• Maintain records of orders and communicate with customers regarding order status.

Inventory Management:

• Help monitor and manage inventory levels of plants and garden-related products.
• Assist in conducting regular stock checks and reordering inventory as necessary.
• Work with the team to maintain organized and visually appealing displays.
• Assist with receiving new plant material

Plant Knowledge:

• Learn about the different plants, trees, and garden supplies available at our center.
• Provide customers with information about plant care, maintenance, and landscaping ideas.
• Assist customers in selecting the right plants for their needs.

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering assistance.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Offer advice on gardening and landscaping to enhance the customer experience.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with fellow team members to create a positive and efficient work environment.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including watering, plant care, and merchandising.
• Support the overall success of the garden center.
