Paredim Communities is seeking a full time Leasing Consultant to add to our team at our brand new development in New Haven. We are looking for an individual with a strong sales and customer service background that is ready to join our fast paced team of Property Management and award winning Leasing All Stars. Paredim is a growing Property Owner / Manager who is seeking talented individuals that are wanting to enhance and further their career.. This Leasing Professional is responsible for the solicitation and leasing to qualified prospects and the processing of their rental applications as well as marketing and advertising. They will support the Property Manager with essential functions including oversight of service requests, follow up, answering phones, maintaining office supplies, office documents and paperwork, managing appearance of office, and customer service.
Requirements
LEASING/MARKETING:
- Soliciting and supporting the overall marketing efforts and offers input and suggestions in regards to promotions and advertisements as the primary point of contact in welcoming new prospects to rent apartment homes.
- Manage, oversee, and update all internet marketing avenues.
- Post Social Media Campaigns.
- Participate in the development and execution of various leasing programs to attract new prospects and retain existing residents.
- Conduct tours of the community with prospective residents; perform follow up with prospects as needed to insure a high rate of closure in lease transactions.
- Ability to understand and explain legal documents (i.e. leases and addenda).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and comply with the state landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing laws and standards taking part in Fair Housing Standard training offered by company.
- Performs Market surveys on a monthly basis with an understanding with their completion by physically shopping them, and having an open communication.
- Marketing & Renting apartments completing all necessary documentation necessary in the leasing process.
- Attends community, staff, industry, and company meetings on a regular basis.
- Networks with sister communities to ensure lease referrals between communities.
- Attends various community recreational and social activities.
- Maintains open and clear communication with the community staff and Property Manager.
- Represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
- Monitors the maintenance activities to ensure customer service goals are being met.
- Ensures the completion of various daily, weekly and monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conducts filing maintaining resident files, property vendor Invoices and reports.
- Assists other on-site employees as needed.
- Inputs resident work order requests following up with maintenance personnel and residents to insure satisfactory results.
FINANCIAL:
- Works with the Property Manager to ensure collection of all rent and other property income.
GENERAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with the Property Manager in making recommendations and overseeing the editing of the community newsletter.
- Outreach to members of the local business community and develop a rapport with the residential community.
- Perform other duties as necessary and as appointed by the Property Manager.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge/Experience:
- Multi-Family experience is preferred but not required. High School diploma required. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills necessary in managing multiple functions. Computer literacy required, including, but not limited to Yardi, RentCafe, Knock, Excel, Word, Outlook, Check Scanning plus experience with computerized property management and / or accounting software. NALP designation is a plus but not required.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
