About You:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic
team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of sales experience, has a reliable network, excellent
cold calling skills, and a proven track record of generating leads. As a key player in our sales force, you
will contribute to the growth of our company by driving new business across a geographic area that is
prime for growth Philadelphia suburban metro area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Drive End-to-End Sales Process:
- Lead and drive the sales process from initial contact through strategy development,
proposal creation, pricing, compelling presentations, and ultimately, successful closing.
- Implement a strategic approach to navigate potential obstacles, ensuring a seamless
progression through each stage of the sales cycle.
2. Proactive Client Research and Qualification:
- Conduct thorough and aggressive research to identify, qualify, and target potential clients
with a large national presence.
- Develop a comprehensive access strategy to initiate meaningful and impactful contact with
potential clients.
3. Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships at the decision-maker level, demonstrating a
deep understanding of prospective customers' needs and effectively communicating
Interstates services and values.
- Act as a trusted advisor, fostering long-term partnerships and aligning solutions with clients'
strategic objectives.
4. Solution-Oriented Approach:
- Identify customer needs and proactively source and present customer-specific solutions that
align with Interstates capabilities and offerings.
- Collaborate with internal resources to design and deliver outcomes that meet or exceed
customer expectations.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment to ensure seamless coordination and
cooperation across the organization.
Requirements:Requirements and Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will possess at least 5-10 years of B2B solution-based selling experience;
experience with BSCs, facilities or exterior building (window cleaning) services preferred.
- Proven experience in cold calling and generating leads to propel company growth.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Strategic sales planning and methodologies.
- Familiarity and self-discipline to manage sales pipeline and awards within company CRM.
- Must demonstrate past success with closing meaningful business on a routine basis.
- Experience in Consultative Selling; capable of understanding how to align and become strategic
solutions partner to fulfill client needs.
- Researching and obtaining market awareness of industry and client.
- Demonstrating competitive drive and determination, to navigate through red flags and deliver
expected results.
- Ability to profitably price complex jobs including the understanding and consideration for
operator access, site pitfalls, legal requirements and client preferences.
- Demonstrating strong oral communication skills, presentation skills, and computer skills.
- Position requires flexibility to travel 10%, including overnight as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Financial acumen in understanding operations, financial modeling, and proposal development.
- Demonstrating strong oral communication skills, presentation skills, and computer skills.
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary.
- Commission schedule designed for first year, six-figure earnings.
