Full description of the position

We are a local dairy/frozen food-service distributor looking for a responsible person to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost effective manner to increase our profitability and maintain excellent customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dependable team player who has great interpersonal skills. This job does involve repetitive heavy lifting and there may be long hours. We offer competitive wages with benefits, paid holidays, vacation, employer match 401k etc. This position is typically Monday - Friday however there could be extenuating circumstances that require weekend work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes

- Follow routes and time schedule

- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle

- Provide excellent services and resolve customer complaints when they arise in a professional manner

-Collect payments

- Inform customers about new products and services

- Complete logs and reports

- Follow DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards

Requirements:

- Proven working experience as a delivery driver

- clean valid professional drivers license.

- Good driving record with no traffic violations

- Ability to safely operate refrigerated straight truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- High school education or greater

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Home daily
• Home weekends
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

• Buffalo, NY 14211: Relocate before starting work (Required)
