The Westin Great Southern is looking for team members that are ready to surprise and delight our guests with outstanding guest service.

We are seeking an organized, focused Sales Coordinator who can assist the sales team and ensure a lasting, positive impression for our guests.

What you will be doing

Primary responsibility is to provide administrative support to the DOS by generating group contracts, assisting with action steps in marketing plan (email blasts, direct mail, creating traces, compiling reports, maintaining group blocks and 3rd party site management, if applicable.) Review arrivals, identify prospective leads, compile corporate guest history, support overall property in guest satisfaction goals, and provide reservation support.

Essential Functions:

• Develops relationship with client by maintaining contact on a regular basis
• Prepares Banquet Event Orders outlining all event details.
• Creates a resume for each group to communicate, in a timely manner, information to facilitate efficient purchasing, scheduling and staffing by all departments
• Forwards all Banquet Event Orders to client for review and approval
• Forwards Group Resume to client for review and approval
• Provides personal attention to client, at all times, to ensure total guest satisfaction
• Provides for any last minute needs client may have
• Conducts site inspections, as assigned, with definite bookings
• Conducts walk-in inspections for potential group sales
• Communicates with Sales Department after pre-qualifying business
• Maintains all information in Sales CRM
• Works on special projects as assigned by Director of Sales
• Attends weekly BEO meetings, weekly sales pick-up meetings and other meetings as deemed necessary
• Other duties as assigned
