Position: Residential Territory Manager

Status: Full-time

Location: Lansing/Flint Michigan

Job Responsibilities:

Primary focus on generating Carrier Great Lakes Residential product sales.

Develop relationships with current dealers to maximize sales opportunities.

Understand and communicate programs, promotions, and initiatives to all assigned dealers.

Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan for your specific territory.

Prospect, sell and develop new business where territory allows based on analyzing the current territory and market.

Light commercial quoting as needed, maintain and update project quote files.

Have a thorough knowledge of all Carrier Great Lakes products available.

Interact with Carrier Great Lakes product managers and vendors to bring the latest product to your dealers.

Requirements:

4-year college Degree, 2-year degree in HVAC or Technical College, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 1 year Territory Manager Sales experience preferred.

Exceptional people skills, negotiation skills, enthusiasm, and leadership to motivate, persuade, and inspire your dealers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent computer skills with common software literacy.

Must be initiative-taking, confident, innovative, and solution oriented.

Organizational and leadership ability to manage multiple tasks in a challenging environment.

Elevated level of personal accountability; sense of urgency and self-initiative.

Solid critical thinking, problem-solving and planning skills.

Candidate must reside in the territory.

Qualifications:

Territory Manager Experience Preferred

Experience working with HVAC contractors a plus.

Knowledge of a distribution environment.
