ADVERTISING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Our growing media company is seeking an Advertising Account Executive to develop partnerships with local and regional businesses to help achieve their marketing objectives.

Thirst Colorado Media and Colorados Performing Arts Publications have been connecting companies and organizations to Colorados active, educated, and affluent residents and visitors for over 50 years.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to adapt their marketing and sales skills to an evolving media landscape.

Responsibilities for Advertising Account Executive

• Sell print and digital advertising to small and mid-sized businesses throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region
• Build and maintain a portfolio of strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and editorial teams to understand the unique characteristics and positioning of each product
• Use company CRM system to maintain accurate account and opportunity information and drive sales activity
• Work closely with production team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of client deliverables
• Meet and exceed revenue targets with focus on superior account retention and new account generation

Qualifications for Advertising Account Executive

• Outgoing, resourceful and self-motivated
• Strong desire to meet/exceed annual revenue targets
• Inside sales of advertising and/or Internet sales a big plus
• Knowledge and understanding of the media buying and sales process
• Strong face-to-face, phone-based and electronic communication and presentation skills
• Understand value of print media in current marketing / branding landscape

The compensation package, which allows for uncapped income growth, will reflect the skill level and experience of the candidate. A full benefits package is included with this full-time position.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
