We are actively searching for an experienced Community Association Manager (CAM) to join our growing company. As we aim to build a portfolio of properties centered around the right CAM, we seek a community association professional who can contribute to the realization of our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, service-oriented, and highly value teamwork.
The role of Community Association Manager involves the daily management of assigned communities. The successful candidate will adeptly engage with homeowners, vendors, board members, committee members, and fellow members of the Advanced Property Management team. Acting as a liaison between Advanced Property Management and community associations (HOAs and COAs), you will be instrumental in cultivating strong relationships. Key responsibilities include attending and coordinating all community-related meetings, such as Board of Directors, Annual Members, and Budget Meetings. Additionally, you will be responsible for the preparation of all related and/or required meeting notices and minutes.
- Regular property visits for inspections, meetings, and project oversight.
- Manage communities according to governing docs, management agreements, and contracts.
- Understand and carry out the terms and conditions of the Management Contract.
- Perform administrative duties as needed.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and correspondence in a timely, professional manner.
- Process violations, architectural control applications.
- Prepare for, attend, present Managers Reports, and summarize in notes and minutes all Board of Directors meetings. Proactive, clear communication with BOD, vendors, and the internal team.
- Develop and submit a complete and accurate annual budget(s), meeting all deadlines and demonstrating thorough analysis and consideration for the goals of the asset as well as market conditions to make qualified decisions. You will have the support of the Company's accounting team, as well as working with our upper management team to complete this task.
- Stay current with best industry practices, as well as all current applicable laws, and educate boards on the same.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement and Critical Skills:
- Maintain a pleasant and professional relationship with the Board, Unit Owners, and Vendors.
- Communicate regularly with Board members and residents.
- Ability to run a Board of Directors meeting.
- Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
- Remain up-to-date on state and regulatory statutes.
- Provide personal follow-up to clients by email, phone, and in-person as required.
- Adhere to deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- Possess a valid CAM license issued by the State of Florida.
- At least two years of experience in Community Association Management is preferred, with knowledge of managing both Condos and HOAs.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Computer savvy with experience in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and property management-specific software.
- Must be a motivated person who values teamwork and has a great attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
