POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for assisting and growing revenue through remote sales efforts while working with the customer support team to address customer needs in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Effectively use and manage CRM system to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports for sales performance analysis.
Support Field Sales Representatives with reporting and customer maintenance.
Conduct virtual sales calls and meetings to discuss product offerings, answer questions, and negotiate terms to close deals.
Identify and qualify potential customers through proactive outreach, market research, and collaboration with the marketing team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their chemical needs and provide tailored solutions.
Manage assigned distributor accounts in efforts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of the product or service to potential customers through presentations, demonstrations, and other sales materials.
Develop a deep understanding of our chemical product line, staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitive offerings.
Maintain and show awareness of sales by product and account to recognize trends or to gather information that could be used for promotions or targeted sales efforts.
Maintain awareness of dealer satisfaction levels and drive programs with Customer Care to identify areas for improvement.
Assist in annual price roll.
Prepare materials and registrations for industry trade shows, table-top dealer shows or other sales formats to drive Ricca Chemical company value proposition.
Must demonstrate Customer Obsession for both internal and external customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to travel 10-25%, as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
One (1) to three (3) years sales experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM Software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The physical environment may require the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. This position may be working in the warehouse under various indoor environmental conditions, including supplemental heating in the winter months and without air-conditioning in the summer months. May be requested to work overtime and weekends. The position may occasionally be exposed to ruptured, leaking packages, some of which may contain Hazardous Materials. Where appropriate, proper safety equipment should be utilized and/or appropriate personnel notified. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials and chemicals. This job may require lifting of up to 50 pounds occasionally.
