Missoula Works Sales Development Representative - Missoula Interfaith Collaborative
Organization
MIC is a collaboration of 32 congregations working with local organizations (e.g. service agencies, businesses and government offices) to address community challenges. A growing and adapting organization, MIC has catalyzed program and policy initiatives to tackle family homelessness, access to work, prison recidivism, access to housing and hunger.
Program Overview
Missoula Works is the largest MIC program; its purpose is to create jobs and access to existing jobs for people with barriers to employment. Missoula Works currently operates: the GET IT DONE Crew, a lawn and landscaping business; Sewing Ventures, a textile manufacturing company that creates backpacks and bags from upcycled material; and Temp 2 Perm, a supportive staffing agency.
Position Overview
A Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Missoula Works will report directly to the Missoula Works Director and will primarily be responsible for inside sales cold calls to employers, following up on leads & prospects, and ensuring the customer database is kept up to date.
The SDR role can be part-time or full-time pending on fit of candidate and can expand to increasing responsibilities (to include management responsibilities) if there is a good fit. Its important to note that during the first 1 to 3 months, the SDRs performance will be evaluated by the number of leads and prospects that are successfully moved through the sales pipeline and that proceed to the stage where the prospect is ready to set up a meeting to evaluate our services further with the Missoula Works Director.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Progressively manage a larger number of local employer leads and prospects, conducting cold calls and managing follow-up .
- Make regular updates to the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Collaborate with the Missoula Works Director on continuous improvement to the business development and sales process; this may include taking initiative to make adjustments to any sales tools (e.g., sales script) as the SDR processes leads and prospects and learns more about what techniques work best to achieve sales goals.
- Support and be responsive to the sales-related needs of the Missoula Works Director.
Compensation
Very competitive salary and benefits, depending on experience.
Base plus commission
- Initial Base-Full-time will range from $35,000 to $40,000 per year (commensurate with experience). Part-time will be negotiated based on hours.
- Commission-SDR can earn up to 50% of their base compensation in additional compensation as agreed targets are met.
Health benefits, paid holiday, vacation and sick time.
