Regional Director of Sales & Marketing
The Inland Pacific Hotels Management Company, Regional Director of Sales & Marketing Sales is responsible for the management of centralized and individual hotel sales teams, managing all hotel brands sales interactive efforts, business lead channels and deployment of sales efforts for the organization. This position is responsible for developing strategic plans and revenue budgets based on the company goals that will promote revenue growth year over year. Responsibilities include business and market development, customer management, strategic direction for hotel teams, quarterly tactical plans against revenue goals and mx of business targets.
The candidate must be a proven leader with depth of industry and discipline knowledge to position hotels against budgeted goals. Development of organizational processes, standards and reporting is required. Excellent project management skills and outstanding communication and relationship skills with internal-external customers and business partners.
The position requires a strong self-directed skill set.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and monitor organization process and standards for the sales discipline at the hotel and corporate level.
- Assess and monitor the on-going financial performance of each hotel through continuous review of revenue generation efforts and through the development, analysis and implementation of the annual budgets, sales and marketing plans and forecasts.
- Develop, build support for and implement strategic sales and tactical plans that align with the Company's overall strategies and lead to positive business results.
- Develop in-depth market research and competitor intelligence to ensure understanding of local market trends and conditions.
- Collaborate with General Managers and Corporate Officers regarding strategic direction and sales revenue performance against determined budget expectations.
- Direct and assist in developing new and expanding market share in existing accounts by leveraging the attributes of each hotel and the surrounding area against each group's, company's or individual's specific needs and buying tendencies.
- Develop packaging strategies to achieve maximum profitability while satisfying customer buy habits.
- Oversight of 3rd party channel participation and level of participation.
- Develop and implement sales training.
- Recruit and hire sales discipline leaders and sales team managers.
- Develop and oversight sales incentive structure.
- Develop and oversight quarterly and annual performance review of property and centralized sales leaders.
- Facilitate quarterly property reviews in tandem with VP of Operations.
- Facilitate annual discipline audits against property sales teams and centralized sales team.
- Participate in weekly, biweekly and monthly corporate planning and review conference calls or in-person meeting.
- Enterprise weekly and monthly flash reporting related to individual hotel and sales performance.
- Serve as liaison against guest dissatisfaction in the group and BT account base; Resolve complaints, concerns or issues in a timely and helpful manner.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Support and lend expertise to other departments as needed, to include Front Office and Food and Beverage.
- Perform other tasks, duties and responsibilities as directed by corporate officers.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years previous hotel area, regional sales leadership management experience is required.
- Multi-unit sales experience required.
- Major brand experience required.
- Solid understanding of the sales process and passion for business development through direct sales, with proven track record for sales success.
- Polished appearance and demeanor, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in representing the portfolio within various business settings, and ability to connect quickly and effortlessly with major buyers and ownership partners.
- Energy and capability for continued self-motivation, with intrinsic competitive drive to achieve.
- Demonstrated success in interfacing with a variety of organizational functions and divisions to accomplish tasks and assignments.
- Computer literacy, with ability to easily navigate database, browser, email, document and spreadsheet applications.

- Reliable and responsible character, with exceptional follow up and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
