Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Medicare Sales Agent to join our team. As a Medicare Agent, you will be responsible for marketing Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plans. You will be assisting clients in navigating the complex world of Medicare and helping them choose the best coverage options for their needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking healthcare coverage.
Duties:
- Market Medicare Advantage plans to Medicare beneficiaries throughout the plan service area.
- Establish community partnerships for event marketing opportunities.
- Create self-generated leads and enrollment opportunities by securing partnerships throughout the service area with key organizations serving the Medicare population.
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and to small and/or large groups.
- Convert a high percentage of appointments to enrollments.
- Ability to conduct appointments and/or events in the evenings and weekends.
- Strategic event planning and execution skills.
- Manage and retain enrollment membership.
- Achieves monthly enrollment goals.
- Travels to other counties and territories within the plans service area.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology to include high-level use and understanding of CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license are required for the position.
- Must have a current Producers License for Accident and Health.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (Verbal & Written), desired, not required.
- Must have and maintain auto insurance coverage per state law.
- Previous field sales experience, 2 or more years (preferably in Medicare sales).
- Familiarity with Managed Care targeted population.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Pass annual Medicare Sales Certification and Recertification requirements.
- Performs other related activities as assigned.
