Come join our growing team as a Customer Service Representative.

Summit Insurance Group is seeking a professional and organized Customer Service Representative to work with our dedicated team, providing excellent service to our clients. This role serves as the first point of contact for our agency and plays a key part in our success. The Customer Service Representative will build positive relationships with clients and encourage new and repeat business through excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues and general inquiries
• Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given
• Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
• Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies
• Stay up-to-date on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all the resources available
• Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, data entry and filing

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Property & Casualty license
• High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
• Previous customer service experience required for this position
• Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
• Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
