Miller Marketing & Distribution is a Kansas-owned food and beverage distributor. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Route Sales Representative operating primarily in the Wichita, KS area.

As a Route Sales Representative, you will be responsible for delivering and selling our products to customers along designated routes, as well as cultivating new business in your area. Grow with us by earning a commission for all your sales. This job is 75% driving, deliveries, and stocking: and 25% sales.

Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicle along designated routes to deliver and sell products to established customers

- Work with management to actively seek new customers along designated route who can add to your weekly sales
- Maintain proper inventory levels on the delivery truck and in storage unit
- Invoice and collect payments/documentation from customers and provide receipts or documentation as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
- Utilize sales techniques to upsell and promote additional products to customers

-Maintain a vehicle record and vehicle maintenance
- Monitor product quality and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate department
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the delivery vehicle

The right candidate will:
- Be at least 21 years old

- Have some experience with retail, receiving, stocking, sales, or delivery work

- Be comfortable starting work in the mornings (5am-6am) and work throughout the day (typically finishing between 2-3pm)

- Be independently motivated and self-starting each day with the ability to work well and productively under minimal daily supervision, but also communicate well with management during the week about sales progress or to request any assistance
- Possess strong sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate and sell products to customers

- Come to work on time and provide good, consistent service to our customers each day

- Be willing to work in all types of weather
- Math skills for handling payments and managing inventory
- Be able to lift occasionally heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day

- Be able to sit, stand, stretch, lean, bend, kneel, walk, carry, and lift throughout the day

- Have and maintain a neat, clean/hygienic appearance at all times and maintain an appropriate level of professionalism based on the setting and audience (dress code: Appropriately casual or Business-casual)

- Valid Class-C (non-commercial) Kansas required

- Be authorized to work in the United States

Pay & Benefits:

- Salary: $40,000.00/yr

- Commission: 5% of sales to your direct customers on your route (guaranteed weekly sales)

- Fairly consistent daytime M-F schedule

- Very little weekend work required (typically only working on the weekends if you were unable to complete your stops during the week)

- Paid every other week

- 2 weeks PTO each year (available after 90 days)
