Position Summary: Contribute to sales and profitability by providing enthusiastic, excellent, personalized experiences for every client: in-store, over the phone, and through online channels. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment with a relaxed, fun family vibe and showcase your customer service skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to work a schedule that includes Saturdays. This role is in-person from 10am - 6pm Tuesday through Friday, and 10:30am 5pm on Saturdays.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service experience to clients
• Build & cultivate client relationships
• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing clients and vendors: in-person, over the phone, and through online channels
• Conduct sales transactions, including cash handling and processing credit card payments
• Participate in all areas of store's operation including merchandising, CRM capture, data entry into companys POS system, and basic maintenance/housekeeping (cleaning, tiding, and organizing of sales floor, cases, and common employee spaces)
• Properly inspect and document client property and handle appropriately
• Follow-up with clients on sales, special orders, and repairs/services as needed
• Strict adherence to security policies, practices, and loss prevention procedures
• Uphold a team approach and utilize effective communication skills with coworkers, management and owners
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (retail sales and/or customer service)
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Basic computer proficiency
• Excellent client service, problem solving, communication, multitasking, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work with a diverse client base
• Strong organizational skills, a consistent work ethic, willingness to learn, and a keen eye for detail in a fast moving, team-friendly work environment
• Willingness to represent the company in our community
• Willingness to work weekends, some holidays, and extra hours/nights during peak selling times
• Must be able to stand for a long period of time during business hours
• Must have a polished, business casual appearance and a positive attitude

Other Helpful Skills and Experience:

• Experience in jewelry industry and/or retail sales preferred
• A preferred college degree and Graduate Gemologist degree or previous GIA course work; or other industry related degrees
• Ability to speak Spanish, a plus
