Opportunity to join a thriving HVAC Manufacturer Representative company in one of the strongest economies in the country. S. Conley Sales, Inc. has been serving the needs of the Commercial HVAC industry in Montana and Wyoming for 20+years.

Headquartered in Bozeman, Montana, we are currently seeking to grow our team in the Missoula Market by adding an Experienced Technical Sales Engineer Professional (Airside).

This position will work alongside our Sr. Sales Engineer who is living in Missoula, MT. and establishing a local presence. The opportunity is to build on the foundation of 20-year business relationships by locally supporting the Engineering, Contracting and Owner community.

Job Description & Duties:

Design Engineer Account Assistance: System selection, budgeting, and basis of design positioning of HVAC equipment for new and existing projects.

Owner Account Assistance: Working with S. Conley Outside Sales Engineers on new project proposals in conjunction with facility representatives, including energy upgrade and direct sell opportunities.

Manufacturer Account Assistance: Maintenance and growth of manufacturer relationships, both existing and future opportunities. Continue to learn & grow as an expert with designated manufacturer lines of equipment.

Support of Sales: Support of our sales department by lending assistance with equipment selection, project management, estimation, takeoff, and leveraging of product knowledge.

Support of Outside Sales Engineer: Assuming roles and responsibilities delegated by others on the team to help elevate the team as a whole.

Fulfill any directives assigned by your supervisors from time to time.

Perform your work in a collegial and professional manner.

Role:

You will be part of our team based in Missoula, with responsibility for equipment sales in the territory of MT and WY. This position interfaces with consultant design engineers, owners, and contractors for our clients in the territory of MT and WY, in addition to S. Conley Sales internal team.

Qualifications:

• Background in mechanical systems or construction.
• HVAC experience of 3-5 years required.
• Proficient with standard computer software and solid understanding of manufacturer-specific software programs.

Education:

• BS degree in Engineering or other degree required.
• Solid understanding of airside HVAC systems including air handling equipment, terminal units, and ancillary equipment that make up a complete system.
• Experience with HVAC Airside products preferred.

Compensation/ hours: - Full Time Position

• Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year DOE
• + Company Profit Sharing Bonus Comp Plan.
• + Substantial Benefits Package
• + Regular Business Hours are typically 8am to 5pm including a lunch break. Expectations are that hours will shift to meet position objectives and client needs.
