LEAD SALES / APPLICATION ENGINEER
(Process Equipment / Instrumentation / Control Systems)
Proconex, an Emerson Impact Partner, is seeking motivated talent to lead our team of industrial sales Applications Engineers in our Royersford, PA office.
CORE COMPETENCIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Equipment/Sales Focus Process Analysis/Measurement & Control Instrumentation, Control Valves, Isolation Valves, Pressure Relief Valves, Regulators and associated Field Services (repair, outage management, start-up support, etc.)
- Reports To Manager of Industrial Sales
- Territory Based out of the home office in Royersford, PA. Will cover the entire Proconex Mid-Atlantic territory and will occasionally require overnight travel.
- Training Although technical training will be provided, the role will also be supported by internal subject matter experts for all product lines.
- Schedule/Environment - Work will be performed Monday through Friday. Working conditions will range from professional office settings to outside industrial sites during all seasons of the year.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience leading a team of sales or applications engineers
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Biology or other related technical discipline
- 8-12 years' experience in industrial sales for process control, HVAC, or industrial equipment
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
