Job Description

This position is responsible for spearheading the development of new products from ideation to launch for multiple brands at ORLY INTERNATIONAL. The ideal candidate is a passionate product development expert with proven experience in beauty/CPG, as well as a trend-savvy product guru who can help define and steer the product pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Innovation:

• Drive creation, development & execution for products, ensuring alignment with brand objectives; manage all aspects of the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and market differentiation.
• Oversee internal Spa testing of new products and color development.

Product Development:

• Product expert on formula, ingredients, benefits, usage, and relevance to the product portfolio.
• Identify white space / translate it into meaningful NPD ideas.
• Present product concepts & development stages to the leadership team.

Market Research:

• Lead/present ongoing category trends, competitive intelligence, and market analysis to help determine color collection development.
• Collect and organize necessary product documentation to support go-to-market needs.
• Partner with suppliers for innovation, trends, and new technologies.
• Ensure internal documents have the most updated & accurate product information.
• Leverage data analysis to create business cases for new products, and product development decisions, ensuring that each product aligns with market demands and preferences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Assist R&D in the technical process of color development.
• Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with cross-functional teams & key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of product launches.
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years of experience in product development.
• Data savvy: proficient in data-driven decision-making and utilizing data analytics tools.
• Flexibility + resilience to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong strategic, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation and staying ahead of market trends in the beauty industry.
• Flexible & open to take on additional responsibilities when needed.
• A problem solver who can deal with ambiguity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
