A growing manufacturing company is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team! A professional with experience in Power Transmission, Manufacturing or Conveying Industries. This is a full-time position Monday Friday 8am to 5pm with exceptional benefits. On site, no remote work. No travel required. Established company over 93 years old and this position is an excellent opportunity for lifelong employment.

Salary Based on experience

Responsibilities:

Customer Service of existing and potential new accounts

Prepare quotations by analyzing material and labor costs, item costs, sales trends, drawings,related customer documents, customer history, product market trends and competition

Prepare sales orders by reviewing purchase orders received via email and fax

Communicate with a variety of customers from maintenance to corporate level sales and project engineers

Daily communication with company management, production, and shipping departments

Communicate with outside sales representatives

Provide comprehensive technical engineering support for products and their applications

Ideal candidate should have the following skills:

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to create, read, and understand technical drawings

Thrives in a fast-paced environment

Able to multi-task and maintain focus on tasks when interrupted

Mechanical minded, strong attention to detail and organization skills

Able to complete tasks in a timely manner

Works well independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering required

Proficient in Microsoft 365

Working knowledge of DesignCAD or SolidWorks

Previous experience with Sage 100 ERP preferred

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
