Made in America OEM manufacturer of electric steam generators. Since 1952, Electro-Steam has provided our partners with the highest quality electric-fired miniature boilers in the USA. Electro-Steam has tens of thousands of units in use across the globe.

We are looking for a technical salesperson with mechanical ability for our food safety division that has experience with sales selling to companies in the food manufacturing industry. Knowledge of food processing sanitation GMP a plus. A top-notch technical equipment sales representative should be knowledgeable about competitors and should have the ability to learn and understand the technical requirements of the customer and how to help the customer meet their needs.

This position is a hybrid of onsite and travel requirements.

• Field customer calls and quote requests; providing quotes, taking orders, answering technical questions and guiding the customer to the proper equipment based on their needs.
• Schedule and conduct new product demonstration sessions in an end-user group setting.
• Perform professional on-site training events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge and be willing to be trained in a shop environment.
• Responds to and anticipates customer needs, providing exceptional customer service.
• Convert leads to customers and close sales deals with existing customers.
• Generate and follow up on new customer leads.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends when needed.
• Available to travel frequently by car and plane up to 60% of the time and represent the company in a professional manner. This is a must have.
• Represent Electro-steam at regional trade shows and networks for new customers.
• Has experience selling manufactured goods to their market(s).
• Capable of engaging senior-level decision makers and influencers.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize work based on urgency, efficiency and other factors. Thrives in autonomous working environment.
• Working experience with common hand tools some installations of accessories will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Driver's License with clean driving record (Required)
• Work authorization (Required)
• Bachelor's (Preferred but not necessary)
• Technical equipment sales: 3 years (Preferred)
• Capital Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Strong technical knowledge of food safety and GMP a plus
