The Licensed Insurance Sales Representative will be responsible for completing the following job duties.

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicit new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Stay up to date on industry market trends and best practices.
• Uphold the wants and needs of your customers, while also making recommendations based on your industry knowledge.
• Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs. Be able to adequately explain benefits/risks of the policy you are providing to a potential or current client.
• Accurately maintain your sales pipeline software, in addition to proficiency in our client database software.
• Work directly with in-house account managers to ensure clients needs are met or exceeded.

Qualifications:

The following qualification are required of the Licensed Insurance Sales Representative.

Education:

• High School Diploma and minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a Insurance Customer Service or Sales role.

Experience:

Customer Service or Personal or Commercial Lines Sales: 2 years

P&C license is required

Skills:

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and work towards client-focused solutions.
• Willingness to be coached by an experienced team member/manager.
• Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be a great self-starter with impeccable time management skills.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up to exceed client expectations during the process of obtaining new insurance products.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
• Prior Sales Experience is a plus.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Working Conditions:

The Licensed Insurance Sales Representative is primarily in an office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions.

The working conditions are classified as medium work:

• Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
