We are looking for a responsible and highly motivated Sales Associate who is ready to be a part of a "retail ministry" working alongside our great team in our Thrift Store.

Our Thrift Store provides more than half of the operating budget for our clients working their way out of homelessness and poverty. We are a faith-based ministry that empowers people to live a responsible life.

Our ideal candidate will be a professional, customer relations-driven individual willing to work with a team.

The successful Sales Associate will constantly strive to support the retail team in meeting all monthly sales goals and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Sorting and putting merchandise on the sales floor.
• Organize inventory.
• Willing to work outside and inside.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Help customers carry in and out donations.
• Maintain the store & merchandise cleanliness.
• Operate the cash register (including cash and credit card processing)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Willing to work weekends.
• Must have a strong verifiable attendance record.
• The ability to lead by example.
• The ability to train volunteers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 40 per week
