Essential Responsibilities

The optical sales team must ensure that the offices remain stocked of frames, lenses, and accessories in order to generate sales. The mission of a Frame Stylist is to ensure that each patient has the most flattering frame for their prescription along with the prescribed lens treatments, sold in a compassionate, enthusiastic, and courteous manner.

• Assist with future financials by way of keeping cost down with labs, frames, lenses, and accessories
• Accurate completion and entry of Patient Saving Statements into employee health records (EHR)
• Guarantee timely delivery of eye wear to patient; seasonally create attractive frame display cases
• Stay current on frame trends in the industry as well as new technology with spectacle lens design
• Ensure the cleanliness of the dispensary area which includes sanitizing frames
• Per parameters, properly repair, assemble and adjust patient eyewear
• Ensure profitability and constantly assess financial performance and institute appropriate enhancements in consultation with the Optical Coordinator
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the table:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English. Spanish is a plus.
• Influential sales skills and customer orientation
• Technical and mathematical abilities
• Strong cross-departmental collaboration
• Basic computer proficiency and typing at least 45 wpm

Required Qualifications:

• At least 0 to 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales position (volunteer work/internships will be considered) or training preferred
• Reliable transportation (travel between work locations required)
• The candidate must love people and be comfortable speaking with people since this position involves close patient contact and close cooperation with the doctor

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Additional Information:

• Pay range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour (dependent upon experience) plus sales bonus
• 30-35 hours/week including Saturdays
