Are you a licensed health insurance producer in the state of Florida seeking an exciting new opportunity? Is so, wed like to speak with you! Savoy is looking for a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to join its rapidly growing team.
As an Account Manager at Savoy Associates, you will support sales and retention by building relationships with our clients, promoting Savoy and assisting in the overall growth of our emerging markets in Florida.
Responsibilities
Sales Team Support:
- Present and participate in presentations to existing and prospective brokers and customers
- Strategize on sales situations and facilitate solutions to complex problems
- Participate in carrier and industry events to promote Savoy
- Assist in the overall growth of the Florida market
- Maintain metric tracking and present during weekly sales meetings
- Act as the internal expert on all carrier guidelines and procedures
Case Installation and Renewal Submissions:
- Coordinate RFPs; Identify cross sell opportunities; Handle medical underwriting and additional information requests; Become familiar with broker preferences and maintain exceptional partner and carrier relationships
- Be the expert on all carrier products and lines of coverage in the Florida market; Communicate internally and with the broker community regarding new product changes
- Manage carrier submission and installation requirements; Negotiate new business and renewal rates
- Provide weekly status updates and bring attention to any anticipated issues or delays before they escalate
- Ensure new cases and renewal changes are entered in VUE timely and accurately
Service Support:
- Handle service requests for all size groups (corrections, claims, billing, plan change issues, etc.)
- Acquire expected time frames and set the proper expectations with brokers and vendors
- Educate and train our broker partners on systems and processes; support brokers with client meetings
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred but not required
- 5+ years experience in group health insurance
- FL health and life license is required
- Demonstrated ability to work at high levels of productivity and quality
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Customer focused attitude and skills to resolve inquiries quickly and effectively
