Now Hiring: Equipment Trainer/Sales Support Specialist
The Equipment Trainer directly supports our Sales Team by developing, scheduling, and implementing comprehensive equipment training for our diverse customer base. This position requires strong technical, interpersonal, oral communication and presentation skills for effective communication both in person, over the phone and via virtual team meeting platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, schedule, and execute equipment training programs for customers, providing in-depth knowledge and practical experience.
- Collaborate with management to create a complete training curriculum for our entire line of equipment.
- Conduct follow-up sessions with trained customers, monitoring learning retention and ensuring successful application of skills in real-world scenarios.
- Develop performance-based systems for assessing current and future training needs, facilitating continuous improvement of our training programs.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to create engaging and informative training videos.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through skills assessments and on-the-job observation, continuously refining our approach based on feedback.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Service team, staying up-to-date with equipment updates and upgrades.
- Schedule all in-person and virtual training sessions with customers and sales representatives, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Troubleshoot any issues arising in the training environment, providing swift support to minimize impact on learning.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience in B2B Sales or customer training roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Training and Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel 65-70% of the time, both nationally and internationally, and work nights and weekends.
- Demonstrated project management and implementation experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to large groups and corporate audiences confidently.
- Superb organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating a high level of trustworthiness.
- Strong technical knowledge, coupled with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in delivering compelling presentations.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
- Possession of a US passport and driver's license, with a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $61,000.00 per year
