Duties & Responsibilities:

• This position will provide excellent client services and representation for Kennecott as well as our other mining partners. This role will be expected to consultant in the areas of technical support and product management relating to welding, machining, and fabrication. The goal will be to promote the value for their investment in Caterpillar equipment, as well as enhance our partnership for mutual success.
• This position will work closely with our Shops and Mining Department Management to help the clients achieve maximum value from their Caterpillar equipment, with a focus on increasing productivity, lowering costs, and providing solutions for their needs and pain points.
• Must be able to work safely and always promote an accident-free environment.
• Adhering not only to Wheeler Machinerys safety policies but those of our mining customers is an absolute must.
• This position will work during traditional business hours but responding to customer needs and emergencies after traditional business hours is a must.
• Must have an acceptable and safe driving record.
• Must be willing to travel to mine sites that are outside of the Salt Lake Valley which may require overnight stays in those locations.

Experience

• 3 - 5 years: An understanding of, and technical experience with Caterpillar equipment.
• 3 - 5 years: Experience in the construction industry.
• 2 - 3 years: Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Previous work experience with warranty processes and guidelines.
