We are looking for individuals with a passion for provide excellent customer service and who excel working both independently and as a member of a team. The Sales Route Merchandiser is responsible for sales and merchandising retail products in stores along a specified route. This position must develop and maintain relationships with customers and provide knowledge of product lines. This is a Full-time position paid hourly with benefits, vacation, and holiday time off. However, requires a flexible schedule with occasional weekend work.

Job Description:

• Create weekly orders based on established inventory levels
• Complete merchandising resets and recommend opportunities for cross-merchandising
• Responsible for selling and ordering product into accounts.
• Ensures consistent adherence to merchandising and customer service standards
• Continuously cultivate relationships by actively engaging with deli management to understand their customer base and specific opportunities/challenges
• Build awareness of our premium delicatessen products
• Other additional projects as assigned/needed
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, maintain company assets and point of sale, ensure account meets merchandising standards, determine stores product needs, place and transmit appropriate order

Job Requirements

• 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, warehouse, or similar role
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated/freezer environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
