Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced used car salesman to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. As a used car salesman at our dealership, you will have the opportunity to sell affordable, quality pre-owned vehicles to customers in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and match them with the right used vehicle
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the inventory, including vehicle features, pricing, and financing options
• Effectively negotiate with customers to close sales and meet or exceed sales targets
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless and efficient sales process
• Utilize our customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage customer information, inventory, and sales data, and ensure timely follow-up and deal closure

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in used car sales or a related automotive sales role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in using computer systems and software, including customer relationship management (CRM) tools
• Motivated and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with the Detroit automotive market and local customer preferences
