Full description of the position

Summary/Objective

Inside Sales Representative will be the liaison between Komet USA and its current and potential customers. This team member will take ownership for effectively developing customer relationships, partnering with a District Manager from the assigned Territory.

Essential Functions

Identifying new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.

Maintain ownership of calls throughout the lifecycle of a callers request, including follow-ups with escalation team

Manage inbound calls, emails, texts, and faxes in a timely manner.

Develop qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members for further development and closure.

Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.

Seize and/or create opportunities to upsell products when they arise.

Track of all conversations in the CRM, so all parties understand.

Grow customer sales base and drive incremental sales.

Contact customers on miscues including but not limited to delayed shipments, shortage of materials, tracking, etc., explain circumstances and help find best resolution.

Quotes prices, delivery dates, and payment terms, using knowledge of company products and services.

Consult with prospect on products and represent Komet USA to the customer/ prospect, using knowledge of company products.

Assess each customer and make product recommendations based on a need or problem to be solved.

Completes and enters orders accurately in CRM.

Updates account information and works with DM to service assigned accounts according to company expectations.

Notate required prospect data into appropriate fields or the CRM.

Keep in regular contact with buying customers.

Coordinate field sales follow-ups as needed.

Uphold standards of self-motivation, time management and productivity.

Qualifications/Skills

Must possess ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively. Candidate should have the ability to also read, write/type, and understand English well. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Must be comfortable integrating our SharePoint and KUSA CRM.

Education and Experience:

Must have an Associate Degree

Sales experience preferred

Customer Service experience required

Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday and are assigned specific shifts to accommodate time zones. Occasional Remote Work is optional based on approval and business needs.

Travel: No travel is required.
