Maine Community Solar is looking for an outgoing, motivated individual to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has a strong work ethic, and is willing to learn.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Inbound Telesales Representative to join our team at our Portland, Maine headquarters. In this role, you will leverage your sales expertise to convert warm and hot leads into satisfied customers. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential clients from a warm pipeline, guiding them through the benefits of our community solar product and ultimately closing sales. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of call center experience, a proven track record in direct sales, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, commission-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with warm and hot leads provided through our pipeline.
- Conduct persuasive and compelling conversations with potential customers to present the advantages of our community solar product.
- Clearly explain the benefits, features, and value of our offering, addressing any questions or concerns the customer may have.
- Utilize your sales expertise to identify opportunities and overcome objections, ultimately leading to successful sales closures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
- Meet or exceed daily sales quotas and performance targets, working diligently to achieve personal and team goals.
- Collaborate with team members, sharing insights and best practices to enhance overall performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and community solar knowledge through provided training materials.
- Provide excellent customer experiences by offering exceptional service throughout the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center environment, with a demonstrated track record in direct sales.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commission-based role.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new products, processes, and technologies.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales-related software.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also thriving independently.
- Positive attitude and a resilient approach to handling objections and challenges.
