The primary objective for the Inside Sales Representative is to actively facilitate the growth of the project pipeline by developing and calling upon Qualified Leads with opportunities for new project engagements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The focus for this role is driving new revenues by prospecting and developing clientele. Which includes developing qualified leads, opportunities, improving account penetration, and developing an opportunity pipeline in partnership with territory Business Development Directors (BDDs). This role will also be responsible for entering and maintaining a qualified Lead pipeline in the CRM and securing a targeted book of qualified business within the assigned territory. Further responsibilities are outlined are below:
Call on prospective customers to identify and qualify new business.
Introduce the Company's capabilities and services to prospective leads
Lead participation by BDD staff to support management of new project, pipeline engagements.
Support marketing activities for Lead generation, qualification, and management of leads through a BDD engagement or alternatively, a marketing nurturing pipeline.
Maintain Salesorce.com CRM tool with accurate, timely, and qualified data entry.
Participate in market and commercial development planning.
Perform in accordance with brand and corporate ethics guidelines.
Plan and perform on target and within budget.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences highly desired
Experience: 2-4 years of previous experience in a similar role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Willingness and ability to influence external customers and prospective customers to purchase or consider Aliri services
Desire to meet or exceed target expectations
Prior customer service experience, preferably within the life sciences or mass spectrometry industries preferred
Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and human interactions skills
Demonstrated ability and willingness to influence and lead outside of hierarchical designations
Strong understanding or willingness and ability to learn mass spectrometry, laboratory automation, and contract research organization operations as applicable to the sales process
Strong understanding or willingness and ability to learn GLP regulatory and experimental design experience, as applicable to the sales process
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in lead prospection and qualification, and/or inside sales preferred
Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills required
Strong analytical and strategic skills with proven ability to work within a global and matrix organization preferred
Provides accurate forecasts and projections to the territory(s) BDDs, Sr. Advisor, and VP of Business Development
Consistently performs in a timely manner to penetrate targets for the purpose of establishing qualified leads and BDD meetings to meet and exceed targets.
Compensation:
This role is a salary/commission-based position

Travel as necessary less than 25% of the time.
